The Vielfalt Group is a non-profit institute for education and development. As a state licensed provider of voluntary youth welfare, its administrative headquarter is located in Düsseldorf.

Prof. Dr. Dr. rauf Ceylan
University of Osnabrück
Prof. Ceylan holds a degree in sociology from the Department of Education and Cultural Studies.
Among other things, he is a member of the Senate of the University of Osnabrück and a member of the Institute for Migration Research and Intercultural Studies. Prof. Ceylan is on the scientific council of the Osnabrück Peace Talks and co-founder of the Avicenna-Studienwerk.
As Chairman of the Board, he is responsible for the strategic management of the Vielfalt Group.
Dr. med. Nora Matar
University Hospital Bochum
Dr. Matar is a specialist in pediatric and adolescent medicine in the special field of pediatric endocrinology.
She is, among other things, in the medical coordination at the Essen Center for Rare Diseases as well as a member of the German Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine.
As Chairwoman of the Management Board, she is responsible for the strategic management of the Vielfalt Group.
Prof. Dr. Prof. h.c. Egon Spiegel
University of Vechta
Prof. Spiegel is a peace educator with research interests in poverty research (child poverty in Germany), early childhood education, intercultural/interreligious learning (migration), school as a field of conflict, peace education and nonviolent action, as well as educational science and religious education.
Among others, he is a member of the Gesellschaft für Fachdidaktik (GFD) and of the Gewerkschaft Erziehung und Wissenschaft (GEW).
As a board member, he is co-responsible for the management of the Diversity Group.
Prof. Dr. Margit Stein
University of Vechta
Prof.'in Dr. Stein teaches as an educational scientist at the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences.
Her research focuses on early childhood education, elementary education, inclusive education, school education, general didactics, empirical educational research, and education and gender.
As a member of the board, she is co-responsible for the management of the diversity group.
Prof. Dr. Karim Fereidooni
Ruhr University Bochum
Prof. Fereidooni is junior professor for didactics of social science education at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB).
His research focuses on school research, political education, diversity studies, criticism of racism in educational institutions, and bullying.
Ms. Doğan is a business economist and state-certified educator. She is also the managing director of the educational organization Vielfalt Deutschland gGmbH and co-founder of Vielfalt Gruppe e.V..
Her work focuses on language education & development and sustainable parental work. She was project manager and representative for intercultural affairs for various educational institutions. As the managing director of a German educational institution, she most recently opened a German daycare center in Istanbul.
As chairwoman of the advisory board she is co-responsible for the pedagogical profile of Vielfalt Gruppe e.V..
Our honorary supervisory board is responsible for finances and operating costs.
Prof. dr. Monika Burg
International School of Management (ISM)
Prof. Burg teaches Human Resource Management and Controlling at ISM Dortmund. In her research, she focuses on the competencies that specialists and managers need in order to successfully master the challenges of a changing business world.
Among other positions, she was Group Human Resources Director at Douglas Holding AG as well as HR Director and Member of the Executive Board at C&A Mode KG.
As a member of the Supervisory Board, she is jointly responsible for monitoring and advising the Executive Board.
Dr.-Ing. Christian Ahlfeld
Ruhr University Bochum
Dr. Ahlfeld is a research associate at the Chair of Industrial Sales Engineering (ISE) at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Ruhr-Universität-Bochum (RUB). He heads the "Technology and Product Management" working group based there and, in addition to selected aspects of basic sales psychology training and project management, is a key representative of the topics of product, innovation and sales management in the bachelor's degree program and those of technology management in the master's degree program "Sales Engineering and Product Management". As Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board, he is responsible for monitoring and advising the Executive Board.
Mr. Doğan is a shareholder of the educational institution "Vielfalt Deutschland gGmbH" and co-founder of Vielfalt Gruppe e.V..
Within the scope of his field of study ,,Industrial Engineering with a focus on technical sales'', he has gained international experience in countries such as India, Malaysia and Turkey.
His duties consist of managing finances and digital affairs.
As a member of the Executive Board, he is responsible for the operational management of the Vielfalt Group.
